Important Changes for Ukrainians with humanitarian parole who arrived in the US after October 1, 2024
Here's what you need to know:
• New arrivals (after October 1, 2024) are not eligible for IDHS benefits (SNAP, Cash assistance and Medicaid), except Medicaid for pregnant women and children under 18.
• Those who arrived before October 1, 2024 still qualify for benefits and renewals.
Keep in mind that each case is individual and you may qualify for social assistance if you have a family that arrived before October 1, 2024, or other factors.

Due to the change in eligibility, Selfreliance Association (and other social services organizations) are currently unable to provide application support to community members who are not eligible to apply for social benefits from IDHS.
